This small edition of 8 prints was influenced by the work of the Grosvenor School led by Claude Flight. Between 1914 and 1939 the group produced many ground breaking images, always printed by hand and usually using elements of Vorticism, Cubism and Abstraction.
The edition is printed on Fabriano Artistico paper at the BIP Fine Art Printing Studios in Kemp Town Brighton. The reduction process progressively destroys the printing plate so that the number of images in the edition is limited by the print run of the initial colour.
The Columbian flat bed printing press used here was manufactured in Fleet Street London in 1844.
